HUMAN Humans, are well, pretty average. There are those with greater advantages than others, however there aren't many human-beings who could survive against a sanguine if they fought to the death. There aren't very many humans living inside the city. They come to Red Creek to support any sanguine family members, although now-a-days it's a rare occasion for a human couple to produce sanguine offspring. Curiosity also plays a factor in humans who live in these sorts of communities. Humans are allowed to leave the city as often as they like. They are not restricted to live inside Red Creek for their whole lives as a sanguine is. Also, it should be noted that not all humans who live inside the community have a positive opinion of sanguinekind. Some may infiltrate the city in hopes to destroy it from the inside, or maybe get revenge on a sanguine from the war. SANGUINE Homo-sanguineous, or sanguine, are often labeled as "super human". Some view them all as vampires based on their need to consume blood. Sanguines make up the majority of the population inside Red Creek. They posses greater abilities than their human brethren. They are stronger, faster and more intelligent. Their bodies operate at a higher capability, but because of this they must consume blood every day. Another trait that the sanguines seem to have been gifted is attractiveness. Their bodies always seem to be fit. Their metabolism, much like every system in their body, works very fast. Their muscles develop easily. The sanguines have two hearts, which somehow seems to be the route cause for their enhanced bodies. Their organs are bigger than an average human's, because of this their bodies actually seem larger. An average height for a sanguine depends on the region. In America, females average at 5'9" and males generally stand at 6'4". Sanguines do not drink from humans, they drink bagged blood, strictly. VAMPIRE Vampires are actually sanguines, however they are the individuals who decided to stay attune to their darker selves. They have decided to sustain themselves on fresh human blood, from the source. Most of the sanguines inside of Red Creek consume blood from the hospital however, occasionally a vampire can slip through the cracks. You see, most vampires aren't suffering from an uncontrollable urge to feed on humans. These people choose to feed on humankind because they believe that they are the next line of evolution and that if they wipe humans off the Earth then they will no longer need to feed on them. Others believe that humankind should simply be considered livestock. Now that sanguines have been born onto the Earth they are the superior race. Many vampires believe the sanguines to be weak. Occasionally they will try to talk them into becoming a vampire. Most of the time they will feed on other sanguines. Not that a sanguine gives them enough blood to sustain themselves for even an entire day. They feed on them merely because they can. HUNTER Hunters were created during the war between humans and vampires. They are specially trained warriors who have spent a long time perfecting techniques used to capture vampires. Vampires aren't like the ones you see in the movies, they have no weakness, except for their mortality. Different hunters develop different ways to hunt vampires. They use various weapons and fighting styles. Since the development of the sanguine cities, hunters have been recruited as police. They work as government officials to force vampires and sanguines to their designated cities. Hunters play an important role in the governments plans. There are no sanguine hunters, some have tried but they are not allowed to become one, officially. However some become rogue hunters. Rogue hunters do not capture vampires, normally. They simply kill them.
