((You receive this letter after being registered into Red Creek)) WELCOME! Hello neighbor! Welcome to Red Creek, the place to be if you're a sanguine! We hope that your experience thus far has been a nice one. In this letter, we will be addressing some questions you may have. Please note that not all questions and answers may pertain to you specifically. WHY CAN'T I LIVE IN THE WORLD LIKE NORMAL HUMANS? Cheer up! It's better here in Red Creek, isn't it? Out in the world you are hunted and killed with little to no remorse. These sanguine safe communities were created to help keep you out of harms way. WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MY OWN JOB? Red Creek runs very effectively with little help from the outside world. It is completely controlled by sanguine officials. To keep things running well these officials appoint new residents to jobs that they seem most suited for and jobs that Red Creek needs filled the most. ARE NORMAL HUMANS ALLOWED TO LIVE IN RED CREEK? Yes. There are very many regular ole' humans running around. Normally they come to Red Creek if they have a child who was born as a sanguine. Some humans simply decided to come to the community either due to curiosity or other reasons. Most of the police force is comprised of human hunters, so be aware that there are hunters roaming the place as well. But they are friendly! Mostly. WHAT DO I DO NEXT? Anything you want. Just don't try to escape. Most who have tried have died, some have survived but none have actually made it out of the city. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO STAY AT THE CONDITIONING CAMP? As long as it takes. Some people fall into a deeper blood frenzy, others aren't as hard to break. We promise you will not be there forever, just try your best to overcome your thirst and you'll be out in no time! CAN I FEED ON A HUMAN IF I HAVE THEIR PERMISSION? No. It is never appropriate to feed on another person. If it is brought to our attention that you have fed on someone you will be brought to the Conditioning Camp. If you continue to break this law, you will be removed from the community and turned over to US authorities where you will be imprisoned. I believe that's all the usual questions. Once again, welcome to Red Creek. We wish you well with your new life. Please be patient while officials of Red Creek sort out where your new home will be located and what your occupation will be. Homes are fully furnished, however they lack any type of decorative touch. Once you start working and earning money you can begin decorating things to your liking, or perhaps you brought things with you and wish to decorate with them. We encourage our citizens to be as creative as they like, it is your home after all. You'll be there for the rest of your life! Be aware that if you enter a blood-frenzied state and cannot be sedated enough to bring you to the camp you can be killed. It is for everyone's safety that this is the case.
